Should I prepare for my appointment in any way?
You don’t need to do much! Please do not put any deodorant on before your underarm before your sugaring appointment. Also avoid any lotion on the areas that you are getting treated.
WHAT KIND OF WAX DO YOU USE?
We use a high quality Azulene wax that is packed with the soothing goodness of chamomile and honey. It is suitable for all skin types. Being packed with natural extracts the Azulene wax also heals and soothes your skin.
WHAT IS AN IDEAL LENGTH OF HAIR FOR WAXING?
Make sure your hair is at least ¼ inch long (nearly the length of your bottom eyelash). If your hair is longer, just leave it and we will quickly trim it down before the process, to the right length. If you shave, leave it for nearly 3 weeks before your waxing.
HOW DO I PREPARE MY SKIN BEFORE WAXING?
- Check your skin for irritation, scars, sunburns and breakouts. If you have any of them, wait until they are healed before waxing.
- Take a note of moles and lesions and cover them with a small band aid and make sure to point them out to the professional before the process.
- Clean the area using gentle soap and cold/lukewarm water.
- Exfoliate your skin gently to remove dead cells.
DOES WAXING HURT?
Well, it depends on your pain threshold. At Hibba Beauty Studios, our experienced estheticians carefully do the waxing so that you feel the least pain during the process.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET WAXING?
Waxing should be done every four to five weeks. Your skin will adapt to the sensation of waxing if it is done at regular intervals. Another good thing is that hair follicle will have less and less grip on the hair to be stripped off & it will minimize unwanted hair growth.
